2006 black neck chardonnay

This wine is 100% Chardonnay from the La Emilia vineyard.  The vineyard is 16 years old and provides excellent fruit. 

This wine has a delicate light golden color with emerald hues. The aroma is full of melon and pineapple. The wine is fresh, vibrant and stimulating with a long lush finish

Our Panel:  The aromas show ripe pineapple and banana fruit flavors with notes of white stone fruits and hints of sweet spices. The mouthfeel is full yet clean, with fresh, crisp acidity.

 

2006 black neck malbec

In Argentina, Malbec has become the signature grape and their hallmark of wines.  100% Malbec from the 25 year old vineyard Finca Don Umberto.  

Intense ruby colour with violet hues. Its aroma is laced with hints of red cherries, plums and sweet ripe grapes. The wine is silky and well balanced to the palate.

Our Panel:  Fine core of raspberry and blackberry here, with ample structure as well. Good mineral, toast, briar and meat hints underneath. Shows more muscle but stays nicely balanced through the finish.
