Winery Notes: Our elegant 2006 Chardonnay wine has classic pear and apple aromas enhanced with hints of cloves and vanilla. The same ripe fruit flavors continue on the palate with notes of citrus and a touch of roasted hazelnuts (noisette). The wine is full bodied with a long, lingering finish. It is made from grapes grown in gravel loam soils of our creek side block in Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, California.

Winery Notes:
WEST Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2003 is a rich and full-bodied, yet sophisticated, wine from the heartland of the American wine culture.
The deep colors and exquisite bouquet of this wine adds to its complex flavors of cassis, plum, spice and earth tones. It has been produced from the best grapes, farmed with love and care, in a selected parcel within our Valhall Hillside Estate on West Dry Creek.
The 2003 grapes
were picked late, on October 21st, after a slow but robust growing season with a
mid October heat spell, providing ideal picking conditions. The grapes were
handpicked and meticulously sorted. Our wines are based on more than twenty
years of in-house wine producing traditions by the Valhall team.
